Three gaming keypads go head to head

Saitek Flexiglow Egromedia

First there's the updated Flexiglow Cyber Snipa, designed exclusively for FPS gaming with its creative layout of gaming keys. Next there's the Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit that's capable of handling tasks in FPS and RTS gaming. And last, there's the Genius ErgoMedia 500, a spitting image of one of our recommended gaming keypads: the Nostromo N52.

How will these gaming keypads fair against each other? And, how do they match up against our favorite gaming keypads: the WolfKing Warrior and Ideazon Fang? Because it's been a while since we reviewed these older game pads, we'll be grading the three in this roundup on a tougher scale to keep up with today's crop of demanding games.

80GB PlayStation 3 coming soon ... to Korea

Ps3 And Controller

Strangely the company denies having any plans to ship the (slightly) enlarged PS3 to any other territories even though sources report it has already been presented for FCC filing. Does any of this mean anything? Well, it means Sony is keen to protect its market presence in the Far East since the launch of the 120GB Xbox 360 Elite but little more. After all PS3 hard drives can be easily swapped out for any standard 2.5 incher. So can we expect any other hardware modifications in these beasties? Nope.

Ink-less all-metal pen

Penwithoutink

There is no ink, yet this pen will write on virtually any type of paper! Its solid metal 'nib' consists of a metal alloy, that leaves a mark on most types of paper. If you use the sort of paper typically used in printers and photocopiers, the pen leaves a mark that looks as if it was made by a pencil. However the line will not smudge, and cannot be rubbed out.

Samsung CX913P omni-directional LCD screen

Samsung Cx913P

Affectionately naming it the CX913P, Samsung has released a 19 inch LCD with 6milisecond response time and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1. That’s pretty neat in itself, but makes for rather bland news. What is only marginally more interesting though, is the monitor’s ability to point itself in just about any angle, though a cleverly designed stand.

Samsung VC-RS60 and VC-RS60H cleaning robots

Vc-Rs60 3These puppies will set you back around £500 each - the perfect gift for those of us too busy playing World of Warcraft to bother with the cleaning. To justify the purchase just keep telling yourself that it's the equivalent of having a cleaner for an hour or two per week for a year.

Sony Vaio UX50 user review

Vaio Ux50 Ultraportable

I can't believe how crisp and beautiful the screen is. Simply amazing. A little small, but still usable since it's got a great contrasty screen, and a pretty good backlight. A little tough to do thumbs-only typing, especially when you want to hit ALT-F4 to close a window or something.
