Samsung electronics has announced the development of high capacity microSD cards for multimedia devices. The new card not only stores mammoth 8GB of data but is also faster than the current class of SD and SDHC cards. It reads at a record speed of 16MB/s and writes at 6MB/s, faster than SDHC’s write speed which is at 4MB/s.
