It has high definition output (480p, 720p, and 1080i) and optical audio output for 5.1 channel AC3. The battery life is 5 hours for video, or 10 for audio playback. The screen is s bit too small for my liking , only 320 x 240, but Tavi’s other features such as custom EQ, 3D sound effects, FM radio and recording, voice recording, picture/text viewing capabilities definetly make up for this shortcoming.
